What I'm up to now

Updated Happy 2026! Or, I hope it’s a happy one. 2025 was certainly not a banner year for happiness for a lot of people. And to be honest, 2026 is not starting out so hot either, if you’re a follower of the news at all.

After recovering from illnesses, body aches and pains, and seasonal depression, the last month seems like a blur. Now I feel like I’m grateful for any sun that can find its way through the clouds, any long respite from being sick or injured, and any clarity on what I’m supposed to be doing other than sleeping!
